Geoff grew up living around muscle cars and hot rods, and built his first car (a 1974 Plymouth Duster) with his Dad from scratch at the age of 14.
Once he was old enough to get into the pits, he was introduced into Stock Car racing, and has been hooked ever since.
It was Lloyd Halpin who first introduced Geoff to racing and then Lonnie Sommerville took Geoff under his wing and helped develop him into who he is today.
Geoff moved to North Carolina once he graduated from school to attend Bobby Isaac Motorsports, a school that "taught everything there was to learn about race cars".
While living in North Carolina he would go to local races on weekends, and try to find volunteer work. He went to the Mason Dixon Meltdown with Dean Clattenburg and then went to the snowball derby with Gary Crooks and Travis Kittleson.
He then moved to Ontario and worked for Dave Whitlock on the Nascar Canadian tire series for a year.
In the Summer of 2009, he was again able to work for Dave Whitlock in western Canada for two separate races.
Now at the age of 21, he owns and operates GD Fabrication & Parts and have worked with such talented drivers as Greg Fahey, Steve Halpin, Myles Harris, and many others.
Photos of Greg's Car (#20), Steve's Car (#03), and Dave Whitlock's (#39) can be seen in the photos page.
